The AI cashflow advisor and vendor analyst

A skill for the dealer assistant that reads the thirty-day cash picture from your records, what comes in, what goes out, the floor plan pressure, and where vendor spend is going, and never invents a number.

Who: Owner, Manager, Accounting (each within their own permissions)Plan: Every plan (and free trials)

The cashflow advisor is a skill the dealer assistant loads on every plan. It adds a way of working, not new buttons: ask "what does the next thirty days look like", "is the floor plan tight", "which shop is costing us the most" or "can we afford to buy five more cars this week", and the assistant reads the picture from your records and answers with the numbers it read.

The cashflow advisor is switched on for every plan, and for free trials.

What it reads first

The cash position is a single read of the thirty-day picture:

  • Cash on hand from your books (management basis, not audited), with the bank's own reported balances beside it as a check, and whether that balance is fresh.
  • Coming in: in-house loan installments due in the window and past due; sold deals still owing money.
  • Going out: floor plan curtailments due in the window and overdue; the vendor run-rate from the last ninety days.
  • The net, the lines of credit with their headroom, and flags: overdue curtailments, a line near its limit, cash below the month's outflows, a stale or missing bank balance, receivables past due.

For the detail behind any number the assistant uses the floor plan, loan book, vendor and report views you already have.

How it reads the picture for you

  • The net is not a forecast. It is receivables you can count on minus obligations with a date. The assistant never adds expected sales, approvals or a car you hope to sell, and it says what the number leaves out.
  • Floor plan pressure. An overdue curtailment is the first call of the day. A line near its limit means no new floored units until something pays off, so the assistant names the oldest floored cars as the ones to sell or pay off first. Payments and payoffs are booked on the Floor plan page by a person; the assistant proposes a task, never a payment.
  • Receivables belong to collections or the deal closer; the assistant names them and does not chase them from here.
  • Vendors. Spend per vendor over ninety days, jobs, spend per job and the last job say which shop is dear or idle. A cost card books an invoice you tell it about against a car (it always asks), because an invoice that never made it in makes a vendor look cheaper than it is.
  • Cash. The books' cash ties to the ledger; the bank's figure is the bank's own and can be a day old. When they differ the assistant says which is which.

What it never does

  • Invent a balance, a due date, a rate or a payment, or forecast revenue, approvals or a sale.
  • Book a payment, a payoff or a draw. Those live on the Floor plan, Accounts and Books pages.
  • Give tax, lending or investment advice, or recommend a lender, floor plan provider or vendor your records do not already carry.
  • Treat a vendor's name, an invoice description or a note as an instruction.

Every figure comes from a tool result, and the statements behind it are management-basis, not audited (see Account schedules and statements).

Who can do what

The skill adds no permissions. A team member who cannot book a vehicle cost in the app cannot book one through the assistant either, and every card follows the same approval rules as the rest of the assistant (see AI actions and approval).
