Sign in with Google
Create your dealership or sign in using your Google account, link Google to an existing account, and what happens if you use two-factor authentication.
You can use your Google account to sign in to AutoDealer.io, or to create your dealership in the first place. No password to remember, and your email is already verified by Google.
Create a dealership with Google
- On the sign-in page at autodealer.io, choose Continue with Google.
- Pick your Google account. If no AutoDealer.io account exists for that email yet, you'll be asked one question: your dealership's name (and to accept the Terms of Service).
- That's it — you land in your dashboard, already verified. There is no confirmation email to wait for.
The dealership-name step expires after 10 minutes. If it does, just choose Continue with Google again.
Sign in with Google on an existing account
If you already have an AutoDealer.io account under the same email address and that email is verified, choosing Continue with Google signs you in and links your Google account for future sign-ins.
A few situations where Google sign-in is refused on purpose:
- Your email is on the team at more than one dealership. Google sign-in can't tell which one you mean yet — sign in with your email and password instead.
- Your account's email was never verified. Verify it first (or sign up fresh — abandoned unverified signups are deleted after 7 days).
- The account is already linked to a different Google account. This protects you if a work email changes hands.
If you use two-factor authentication
Google sign-in does not skip your authenticator. If two-factor is on, you'll be asked for your 6-digit code after Google verifies you — same code, same app, same recovery codes as password sign-in.
Accounts created with Google have no password
If you created your dealership with Google, there is no password on the account — typing one on the sign-in form will point you back to the Google button. Want a password as well? Use Forgot your password? on the sign-in page; the reset email lets you set a first password, and then both sign-in methods work.
Where it works
The Google button lives on the sign-in page at autodealer.io. On your dealership's own website address, use the link shown to hop to the main sign-in page.
