Getting help and escalating a problem
The AI assistant is your first line of support. When something in the software is actually broken, it escalates straight to the AutoDealer product team with your approval.
Your AI assistant is the support desk. Ask it how anything in AutoDealer works ("how do I publish my website?", "where do I change doc fees?") and it answers from the product documentation, with a link to the right screen.
When the AI can't fix it
Sometimes the problem isn't a how-to question, something in the software is genuinely broken, wrong, or missing. When the AI can't resolve an issue like that, it says so plainly and offers to escalate it to the AutoDealer product team.
Escalation is an approval card like any other AI action. The card shows exactly what will be sent: a written summary of the problem (which you can edit) and a reference to your conversation so the team has context. Nothing is sent until you approve. Approving files the issue directly with the people who build the product, and a copy lands in their inbox immediately.
A few things worth knowing:
- The AI never pretends. If it couldn't solve your problem, it says so instead of inventing a workaround.
- One escalation per issue. Approving the same escalation twice within a day doesn't file a duplicate.
- No promised response times. The team triages every escalation; genuine breakage gets fixed, not queued behind a support tier.
What escalation is not for
Questions about your own data ("why is this deal blocked?") are answered by the AI directly from your records. How-to questions are answered from the docs. Feature ideas and general comments can go through the feedback button at the bottom right of any page. Escalation is specifically for the software not doing what it should.
