The photo studio and your listing look
Put a car's outside photos on a studio backdrop or your own picture with Prepare, one car or 50 at once, with the original kept and the car unchanged.

Prepare one car's photos
Make a car's outside photos look like they were taken in a showroom: the car is cut out of the lot and put on your backdrop, with a shadow under it, framed so the whole car shows. Nothing about the car is changed or made up: it's your own photo of the car.
- Select the photos on the car's Photos card (the square at the top left of each photo, or Select all).
- Click Prepare and pick Apply listing look (the backdrop, the shadow, and the brightness evened out across the photos so they match) or Remove background (the same, but each photo keeps its own brightness).
- Check the look. Show preview styles the first photo so you can compare it with the original. Change the backdrop, the shadow or the crop if you like; they start from your photo defaults.
- Click Style. The dialog counts the photos as it goes ("Styling 3 of 12"). Keep it open until it's done.
- Only outside photos of the car are styled: never the inside, the engine, the odometer, the VIN, damage or paperwork. A photo with no angle yet is left as it is; set its angle first.
- The showroom, the white studio, the dark studio, concrete and the open sky are drawn from where your camera was. The app works out the camera's height from the car's own corner shots, so the floor, the wall, the turntable, the pool of light and the horizon match every photo of that car and all four wheels stand on the floor, whether you shot from headlight height or from above. Style a car's outside photos together so they share one camera. Photos styled before September 29, 2026 were drawn for a single fixed camera; style them again to get this.
- Seamless studio, Warm studio and Natural have no floor to line up at all. The seamless studio is a light gray sweep and the warm studio a cream one, each with only the car's shadow on it. Natural keeps where you took the photo, softly blurred and brightened, with the car sharp on its real ground and its real shadow, so the shadow setting does nothing there. Natural keeps your photo's framing, so frame the car well when you shoot.
- Styled photos show a Styled badge. Your original is kept: Restore on the photo, or Prepare, then Restore original, for several at once, puts it back, turned the way it was.
- Styling a photo again always starts from the original, never from the styled copy.
- You can also ask the assistant, for example "put A100's photos in the showroom". It prepares one card with the car's outside photos that aren't styled yet; nothing changes until you approve, and Undo on the card puts the originals back.
- Each photo uses a little of your plan's monthly AI allowance (the preview too). When the allowance is used up, styling waits for next month or a higher plan.
- A styled photo in your 360 view takes the 360 off your website, so its frames always match. Once all of the car's outside photos are styled alike, it builds again by itself (when Build the 360 on its own is on).
- Glass shows what was behind it: if you can see the old lot through a window in the original, you'll see it in the styled photo too. Check the preview.
Style many cars at once
To give many cars your listing look in one go, select them on the Inventory list (the square at the start of each row) and click Apply listing look.
- Pick the backdrop, the shadow and the crop as you would for one car; they start from your photo defaults.
- Each car's outside photos that aren't styled yet get the look, one car after another. Tick Style photos that are styled already again, in this look to restyle those too, from their originals.
- The dialog shows which car it's on ("Car 3 of 12") and how far along it is. Keep it open until it's done, or click Stop after this car.
- Up to 50 cars at a time, and up to 25 photos a car: run it again for the rest.
- When it's done, it says how many photos it styled and names any car it skipped: one with no outside photos with an angle yet (click Classify on its Photos card), one styled already, or one it couldn't style. If your AI allowance runs out, it stops there; the cars already done keep their new look.
- Restore original on a car's Photos card puts that car's photos back.
Use your own backdrop
Owners and managers can put your cars in front of your own picture instead: your showroom, your building or a branded wall. In Settings, Photos, Listing look, click Upload a picture under Your picture and choose a photo. It's saved as soon as it uploads, and it becomes your listing look.
- Use a wide photo at least 1600 by 900 pixels (any phone photo is big enough). It fills the whole listing photo behind the car, so leave room in the middle and some floor at the bottom.
- Replace swaps it for another photo. Remove takes it away; if it was your listing look, the showroom comes back. Photos already styled on it keep their look until you style them again.
- Once you have a picture, Prepare on a car's Photos card offers Your picture too, and so does the assistant's card.
