Remove the AutoDealer.io link from your footer

On Max, take the "Powered by AutoDealer.io" line and its link off the bottom of your dealer website with one switch in Website settings.

The bottom of every page on a dealer website carries a short line: your copyright, then Powered by AutoDealer.io with a link to us. On the Max plan you can take that line off.

On Basic and Pro the switch is still shown, with a lock on it. Choosing it opens the upgrade option: the owner gets the upgrade button, and a manager gets Ask your owner to upgrade. A free trial counts as the plan you picked, so a Max trial can use the switch.

Take the line off

  1. Open Website in your dashboard and scroll to the Footer link section.
  2. Turn on Remove the AutoDealer.io line from my footer.
  3. Open your website and check the bottom of the page. The change is live at once; there is nothing to publish.

To bring the line back, turn the switch off. That works on any plan.

FAQ

Every dealer website links back to us, and that link is how other dealers find AutoDealer.io. It is part of what keeps the Basic and Pro prices where they are. Max covers its own way, so the link becomes your choice.

What happens if I move down from Max?

The line comes back on your website by itself, within a few minutes of the plan change. Your choice is remembered, so it goes away again if you return to Max. The Footer link card tells you when this has happened.

Does this hide my free autodealer.io address?

No. Your free your-slug.autodealer.io address keeps working on every plan. To have shoppers see your own name in the address bar, connect a custom domain.

I turned it on and still see the line.

Refresh the page. If it is still there, use Refresh live site at the top of the Website page, then reload.
