Arrange your site menu
Put the links at the top and bottom of your website in your own order, rename them, hide the ones you do not want and add links of your own.
Your website comes with a menu: Home, Inventory, Financing, Trade-in, Reviews, About, Contact, and then every page you publish. Edit the menu, under Design in the visual builder, lets you arrange it.
Open the Menu control
- Go to Website and open the visual builder.
- Click Design in the top bar (or Site design at the top of the editing panel), then Edit the menu under Menu.
The preview shows your changes right away. They go live when you click Publish, and they are saved with each version, so you can restore an earlier menu.
What you can do
- Reorder. Use the arrows on the left of a link to move it up or down.
- Rename. Type a new name in the box. "Inventory" can be "Our cars". Clear the box to go back to the original name.
- Hide. Turn off the switch on a link. The page still exists and still opens for anyone with the link. It is only left out of the menu.
- Add a link of your own. Click Add a link, give it a name and say where it goes: a page on your site, such as
/inventory/body/truck, or a fullhttps://address, such as your service shop's booking page. A link to another site opens in a new tab. You can add up to 6.
The footer
The Quick links at the bottom of your site use the same links as the top menu. Untick The footer uses the same links to give the footer its own order, names and hidden links.
Pages you publish later
You never have to come back here when you add a page. A page you publish later joins the end of the menu by itself, the same as before. If you unpublish a page, it drops out of the menu, and your arrangement is kept for when you publish it again.
The Reviews link
Reviews is the one built-in link that is not on every site: your Reviews page exists once you connect Google reviews or add a testimonial (see Google reviews, promo bar, and social links). Until then its row is still here, says so, and is left out of the menu; whatever you name it and wherever you put it is kept for the day it appears.
What you cannot move
If your dealership uses the customer account portal, My Account always stays last in the menu, so a customer can always find where to pay.
A long menu on a smaller screen
On a computer, the menu sits in one row next to your logo. When the whole row does not fit (a tablet, a narrow window, a long menu, or Spanish names, which run longer), your site shows the menu button instead, the same one phones get, and every link is inside it. Nothing is cut and no link wraps onto a second line. Widen the window and the row comes back. To keep the row on more screens, hide or shorten a few links here.
FAQ
I set the order of my pages under Pages. Which one wins?
The order under Website → Pages is the order new pages join the menu in. Once you arrange the menu here, this arrangement wins.
Why can I not publish?
A link of your own needs a name and an address that is either a page on your site (it starts with /) or a full https:// address. The field tells you which link needs fixing.
