Car description generator
Enter a VIN, the miles and the equipment the car really has, and get a short listing description you can paste into your website or a marketplace. The VIN is decoded through NHTSA, the AI writes from those facts only, and the page shows every fact it used.

Written by AI from the facts shown. Read it before you publish it: you are responsible for your listing, and a decoded spec can differ from the car on your lot.
How it works
Facts in, one paragraph out
The VIN is checked and decoded through NHTSA’s vPIC service, the same decode the free VIN decoder uses, to the year, make, model, trim, body, engine, transmission and drivetrain. Those facts, plus the miles, the price and the equipment you tick, are all the AI is given. It is told never to invent equipment, history, warranties or fuel economy that is not in that list.
The answer is checked before you see it: it has to be about the decoded car, the right length, plain text and in the page’s language. Anything else is refused, and so is a note that tries to make the tool do something other than describe the car.
Better listings
What a good used car description does
Leads with what the shopper searched
Year, make, model and trim first, then the miles. That is what a shopper typed into the search box.
Names real equipment
A backup camera or a third row is a reason to click. Say it only when the car has it: a feature the car lacks is a complaint waiting to happen.
Is honest about condition
A short, true note about wear builds more trust than a pile of adjectives. The FTC expects every claim in an ad to be truthful and backed up.
Leaves the rest to the listing
Price, warranty status and the Buyers Guide have their own places. A description that promises a warranty the Buyers Guide does not show creates a problem.
FAQ
Car description generator FAQ
Is the car description generator free?
Yes. There is no login and no email. Each visitor gets a few descriptions a day so the tool stays free for everyone.
Where do the facts come from?
From the VIN, decoded through NHTSA’s vPIC service, and from what you enter: the miles, the price and the equipment you tick. The page lists every fact it used next to the text.
Can it add equipment the car does not have?
It is told not to, and it is only given what the decode and you supplied. A decode describes how the model was built, not this particular car, so read the text against the car before you publish it.
Can I ask it to write something else?
No. The tool only writes one description of the car whose VIN you entered. Notes that ask for anything else are refused, and links, phone numbers and emails in the notes are removed.
Does it write in Spanish?
Yes. On the Spanish page the description is written in Spanish, with the names, numbers and equipment kept as they are.
Write every listing from the car’s own record
In AutoDealer.io the description writer is built into each vehicle: it reads the year, trim, miles, colors and price already saved on the car, and you review the text before it goes live on your website.
