Messages to your own staff about your own leads, deals, cars and titles: a morning briefing, alerts with context, and the same assistant in your own Telegram. Ask a follow-up, send a photo, tap an approval card. Quiet hours hold the rest until morning.

A proactive briefing brings relevant changes to your attention before you go looking for them. It turns selected dealership activity into a summary or alert, giving the team a starting point for the next decision.
The next important task may be outside the screen you have open. Proactive AI brings summaries and alerts into the workflow, helping you review inquiries, deals, aging stock, and title work before deciding what needs attention.
Open Notifications settings to review what your assistant keeps you posted on. These preferences belong to the signed in person. Morning and weekly summaries, new lead or deal alerts, and inventory or title scans can provide context around the records you need to watch.
AI schedules show standing routines and their status. Keep their purpose and timing specific, and review what exists before creating more background work. An alert gives context; it does not mean an action on a record was completed.
Telegram can carry private staff chat, photos, PDFs, and supported approval buttons when connected. Quiet hours help manage interruptions. Restricted actions still require the dashboard, so a briefing on your phone preserves the review required for consequential changes.
Ask the AI assistant to explain a briefing and propose the next supported step. Review before approval; restricted actions still need a dashboard decision.
What arrives
A daily briefing for your dealership, once each morning
Each person gets one message a morning. Owners and managers read the dealership’s numbers first: sales this month, deals in progress, leads, tasks and inventory. Then comes your own day: appointments, tasks due and open leads. A salesperson gets their own day only.
- It goes out once between 7 and 11 AM dealership time. There is no setting for the minute.
- When there is nothing to report and nothing on your plate, no message is sent.
- Once it has gone out, nothing is added to it that day.
- Owners and managers also get a weekly summary on Monday mornings: sales, gross, aging inventory and follow-up that is slipping.
Dealership alerts for the things that cost money when they sit
These alerts go to your own staff, never to a customer. Most come from a check each morning that names an item when it crosses a line, not every morning after, so a steady morning stays quiet. Lot-level alerts go to owners and managers; a new lead goes to the person it is assigned to.
- A new lead, to the person it is assigned to, within about 15 minutes. CRM & Leads
- A deal still open after 7 days. Deals, F&I & E-Sign
- A car on the lot for 60 days, and again at 90. Inventory Management
- Title work past its due date, or stuck at one step. Titles & DMV
- A floor plan curtailment due within a week. Floor Plan
- An in-house loan that is past due. Buy Here Pay Here
- An OFAC match nobody has reviewed for a day. Compliance, Built In
Written by AI, with the reason attached
The alerts are written by your assistant in plain language, not filled into a canned template. Ask why a lead has stalled, which title is overdue or which car is aging, and it answers from the record, with a numbered Sources list that opens the car, deal or lead.
- Every message also lands in the assistant chat in the dashboard, marked From your assistant, and you can reply to it there.
- An alert only tells you something. Receiving one never changes a record.
Each person gets their own briefing and topics
Everyone connects their own Telegram from their own login, and each topic has its own switch under Settings, Notifications. Lot-level topics are for owners and managers; a salesperson gets their own leads, tasks and day. The assistant and its buttons follow each person’s English or Spanish setting.
- Your switches change only your own messages, never a teammate’s.
- The morning message has two topics, Morning digest and Your daily briefing. Switch one off and the other still comes.
On your phone
Ask a follow-up on Telegram, from your phone
Message the assistant in Telegram as you would in the dashboard. It is the same assistant and the same conversation, with the same permissions as in the app, so a salesperson sees only what a salesperson may see. Send up to 25 photos in one go, or a PDF.
- It works only in a private chat with the bot, never in a group.
- An answer drawn from your records ends with a numbered Sources list.
- Photos go onto a car only after you approve the card.
Approve eligible work with a tap; money stays in the dashboard
Standard cards, such as a new task or a lead update, carry Approve #1 and Reject #1, and each button is bound to that one proposal. A typed yes approves nothing. Money, irreversible actions and drafted emails are decided in the dashboard.
- Changes ask by default. What an owner has allowed under Autopilot stays limited to those jobs.
- A card the assistant prepares on its own, such as a follow-up task for a lead gone quiet, arrives with the same buttons.
- To edit a card before approving it, open it in the dashboard.
Quiet hours hold phone alerts until morning
Set quiet hours on the Telegram card under Settings, Notifications, or from the chat itself. An alert that comes up inside the window waits and arrives when it ends, each one as its own message. Replies to your own messages are never held, and neither is the dashboard copy.
- /quiet 21-7 sets a nightly window in dealership time.
- /quiet 2h pauses alerts for two hours. A pause can last up to 24 hours.
- /quiet off turns quiet hours and any pause off.
How to connect Telegram
Open Settings, Notifications, find the Telegram card and press Connect Telegram. Open the link on the phone where you use Telegram and press Start. The link works once and expires in 15 minutes. It is on every plan, and Telegram itself is free.
- Anyone on the team can connect their own account, whatever their role.
- A team member who is deactivated loses access at once.
- Someone who is not connected gets only instructions to connect, never your data.
How to connect Telegram, step by step AI chatbot and assistant for car dealerships
Telegram is a private staff channel. Notification delivery depends on settings, role and AI availability. Quiet hours apply to proactive Telegram messages, not the dashboard copy. Restricted actions require dashboard review, and typed Telegram replies do not approve proposals.

Questions
Questions dealers ask about alerts and the daily briefing
Which dealer management software sends alerts to my phone?
AutoDealer.io does, through Telegram. Each person on your team connects their own Telegram account, and the assistant sends one morning message a day when there is something to report, plus alerts about leads, deals, aging cars and title work. They go to your staff, not to customers. The dashboard itself sends no phone notifications, so Telegram is how an alert reaches a phone today.
Are these alerts about my customers or about my own store?
About your own store, and only your own staff receive them. They cover your leads, deals, cars, title work, floor plan and in-house loans: a lead assigned to you, a car that has been on the lot 60 days, a title past its due date. Nothing on this page is sent to a shopper or a customer.
What is in the morning briefing, when does it arrive, and can I choose the time?
Owners and managers get the dealership’s numbers: sales this month, deals in progress, leads that need attention, tasks and inventory. Everyone gets their own day: appointments, tasks due and open leads. It arrives once a day, between 7 and 11 AM dealership time, and you cannot choose the time. A schedule can run a briefing at a time you pick, but its result lands in the assistant chat in the dashboard, not on Telegram.
How the morning message worksWhy did I get no message this morning?
The usual reasons: there was nothing to report and nothing on your plate, the topic is switched off under Settings, Notifications, or it is not yet morning where your dealership is (Eastern Time is used when no time zone is set). Messages also pause while the assistant is turned off, over its monthly AI allowance, or the subscription is not active. You get one a day, so nothing is added after it has gone out, and on Telegram quiet hours hold it until they end.
How to choose your topicsWho gets the alert when a new lead comes in, and how fast?
The person the lead is assigned to, usually within about 15 minutes. If Lead routing is switched on, a website lead is assigned as it is saved, round robin or by workload, and that person gets the alert. A website lead with nobody assigned shows on the dashboard bell for owners and managers but sends no Telegram alert, and if it is still not contacted a day later it is named to owners and managers in the morning. Quiet hours hold a phone alert until they end.
See how leads are assigned and workedHow do I get told when a car has sat too long?
Owners and managers get an aging inventory alert when an available car reaches 60 days on the lot, counted from its acquisition date, and again at 90. Each car is named once at each mark, not every morning. The morning message also counts the cars past 90 days. You can ask the assistant which cars are aging, and it answers from your inventory with its sources listed.
See how inventory is trackedWhat can I approve from my phone, what has to be approved in the dashboard, and does a typed yes approve anything?
On Telegram, standard cards such as a new task or a lead update carry Approve and Reject buttons with the card’s number. Money, irreversible actions and emails the assistant drafted have no button: you review and decide those in the dashboard, which also opens in your phone’s browser. A typed yes never approves anything, because a typed reply cannot be tied to one exact proposal.
How approvals work on TelegramCan I stop alerts at night?
Yes. Set quiet hours on the Telegram card under Settings, Notifications, or send /quiet 21-7 to the bot for a nightly window in dealership time. Alerts that come up in that window arrive when it ends, each as its own message. /quiet 2h pauses them for two hours and /quiet off turns it all off. Replies to your own messages are never held, and neither is the dashboard copy.
Does every employee get the same alerts?
No. Each person connects their own Telegram and switches their own topics on or off. Lot-level alerts, such as aging cars, overdue titles, stalled deals, past-due in-house loans and the dealership’s numbers, go to owners and managers. A salesperson gets their own new leads, tasks and day. The assistant answers each person within their own role, on Telegram as in the app.
Why Telegram, and does it message my customers?
Telegram is the phone channel that is built today. It is a free app, and each person links their own account from their own login, so the assistant knows who it is talking to and applies that person’s role. And no, it does not message your customers: Telegram here is a private chat between one staff member and the assistant.
Is there a mobile app, and can I run my dealership from my phone?
There is no app in the App Store or on Google Play. The dashboard works in your phone’s browser and can be added to your home screen, where it opens full screen. It needs a connection and sends no phone notifications. Telegram covers the rest on a phone: the morning message, alerts, questions to the assistant and approvals for eligible cards.
How to add it to your home screenDoes it cost extra, and does it work in Spanish?
There is no extra charge. The morning message, the alerts and the Telegram connection are on every plan, and Telegram itself is a free app. Like the rest of the assistant, they run within your plan’s monthly AI allowance. And yes, it works in Spanish: the assistant writes to each person in the language they chose in their profile, and the buttons under a card read Aprobar and Rechazar.
