Drop up to 60 photos of one car on the Add from photos page. The VIN is read off the door label, the windshield or the title, and the year, make, model and trim come from decoding it. The mileage comes from the odometer photo and the cost from a bill of sale. The photos land in listing order, and nothing is added until you press Add car.

A clean backdrop for the whole lot
Pick a look and the car is set on it: Showroom, White studio, Dark studio, Concrete, Natural, Open sky and more, your website color, or a picture of your own lot. Only outside photos are styled. Interior, engine, odometer, VIN, damage and paperwork photos are left as taken, and nothing about the car is changed or made up.

A 360 view with no turntable
Walk around the car and take one outside photo from each of eight angles, or sixteen for a smoother turn. Once each angle has a public photo tagged Complete, the 360 is built from your own shots and shows on your website under the photos, in English or Spanish. Shoppers drag it round; it never spins on its own.

What the photo tools do, and what they leave alone

What it does not do
- Retouch the car: paint, dents and damage stay exactly as photographed.
- Style interior, engine, odometer, VIN, damage or paperwork photos.
- Clean the glass. The old background can still show through the windows.
- Send the 360 to marketplace feeds. It shows on your own website.
- Add a watermark.

Do I need a turntable or a special camera?
No. Your phone is enough. The 360 is built from ordinary outside photos, one from each of eight angles around the car, and Shoot a car on your phone guides you to each stop with lines to fit the car between.
Does it work with iPhone photos?
Yes. iPhone HEIC photos are accepted, along with JPEG, PNG, WebP and GIF. Add from photos and Shoot a car take photos up to 25 MB each.
Can I use my own backdrop?
Yes. Choose Your picture and upload a photo of your own lot or showroom, at least 1600 by 900 pixels, or choose Your website color. Set the default under Settings, Photo defaults, and it is used whenever you style a car.
Will it change how the car looks?
No. Only the background changes. Nothing about the car is changed or made up: paint, dents and damage stay as photographed, and damage photos are never styled. The original is kept, and Restore original puts it back.
What does it cost?
It is included in every plan, with no separate fee and no limit on the number of photos. Styling, reading photos and building a 360 use the plan's monthly AI allowance. When the allowance runs out, styling and new 360 builds wait for next month or a higher plan.
Will the photos go public right away?
No. New photos start private. Every batch is asked what the photos are for (Auction, Transport, Recon or Ready to publish), and nothing goes on your website until you pick Ready to publish. An owner can turn that question off under Settings, and then new photos go public on their own. Paperwork, and photos that show another car's VIN, are always held back.
What if the car is already in my inventory?
Add from photos checks the VIN against your inventory. If the car is in stock, it offers to add the photos to that stock number instead. If it was sold, nothing is added.
Does the 360 go to Facebook or CarGurus?
No. The 360 shows on your own dealer website, under the car's photos. The listing feeds carry your photos, and a sold car stops showing its 360.
